Dr. Hanna Aghabi, MD, ABFM, Medical Director and Assistant Professor, brings exemplary patient care and medical knowledge to the AFC Urgent Care Team. He has ample experience treating pediatrics through geriatrics. Dr. Aghabi is compassionate, caring, and, dedicated towards making every patient’s experience as enjoyable as possible.

For over a decade, Dr. Aghabi was the Medical Director for SUNY-Downstate Hospital in Brooklyn New York. He has mentored hundreds of residents and continues to enhance the medical community by staying involved as a Faculty Preceptor at the hospital.

Dr. Aghabi earned his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees in 1998 from Ross University of medicine and then completed a three-year residency in family medicine at SUNY-Downstate.

Dr. Aghabi holds a medical license in New York and New Jersey.

Dr. Alina Borkowska is a warm, compassionate primary care doctor treating patients of all ages. She has a great reputation for friendly service and quality medical care. Dr. Borkowska is a board certification Family Medicine Physician, through the American Board of Family Medicine.

Originally from Poland, Dr. Borkowska attended Poznan University of Medical Sciences, where she completed her medical education and completed her Residency in Family Medicine at the prestigious University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey’s Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center. Dr. Borkowska’s training in Family Medicine allows her to diagnose and treat a full range of illnesses, medical issues and patients of all ages. Patients from infants to senior citizens that visit Dr. Borkowska can expect to receive the most compassionate quality medical care for their medical conditions.

Dr. Borkowska and the medical staff at AFC Urgent Care can handle simple and complex diagnoses, wound suturing, I&D of skin abscesses, vaccinations, work and school physicals, EKG, urinalysis, and much more.

Leandro Lencina, MD, or simply “Dr. Leo” joined AFC Urgent Care in the Summer of 2015. He attended Stony Brook University where he received his BS in Biochemistry. He then attended UMDNJ in Newark where he received his MD and completed his residency.
While attending UMDNJ, he specialized in internal medicine but is comfortable seeing children of all ages. He has a keen eye and kind heart that leads patients to love his easy going personality.
Born in Argentina, Dr. Leo is fluent in English and Spanish which allows him the unique opportunity to easily converse with the diverse population in and around North Bergen.
